A couple of weeks ago I wrote a post to share my fresh discovery of ho’ponopono.
The post contained a video of Joe Vitale talking about how Ihaleakala Hew Len used his practise of a contemporary derivative of ho’ponopono to dramatically improve the condition of mentally ill inmates of an Hawaiian institution.
Ihaleakala Hew Len’s approach is centred on the idea of 100% responsibility.
Anything that seems to happen externally is in fact a reflection of our own inner thoughts. « If you want to solve a problem, no matter what kind of problem, work on yourself” says Ihaleakala. This fits in a holistic view of the universe where any thought of any entity, including you or me, interacts with the rest of the totality.
Say, for example, you see a down and out lying in the street. Actually you see him in the video projected on the inner screen of your mind, which is what you experience as “reality”. The best way to help him is first to erase from your own system the thoughts that contributed to being in his condition.
This you can achieve by sincere adhesion to a mantra of repentance, gratitude and love addressed to the universe which helps release the weight of the “wrong thoughts” stored in you, often from previous generations.
Here is a video of Ihaleakala Hew Len being interviewed by people trying to grasp his extraordinary approach :
Fear not, let go of all excess baggage.
Love,
Leo
