Ho’oponopono : clearing and gratitude

Yesterday when I wrote the post « Spirituality in daily life » I ‘d hardly heard about Ho’oponopono.

Today someone very close showed me a book and pointed to a chapter referring to this extraordinary Hawaiian practice and the contemporary ideas derived from it.

This immediately struck me as encapsulating the essence of most of what I have been struggling to discover, clarify and share on this blog over the last ten months.

The background on Ho’oponopono you can find on Wikipedia, but here is a very moving account of how ideas from the practice have been used by a therapist working on the cases of mentally insane criminals.

Fear not, nurture thoughts of gratitude and forgiveness.

Love,

Leo
